KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 10 people have been killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike near a school in the Gaza Strip, media reports said on Tuesday.
Reuters reported that the attack occurred near the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Eyewitnesses said clashes had earlier taken place between local residents and members of an armed group reportedly backed by Israel.
According to sources, Israeli drones fired two rockets at the area during the confrontation.
The report said at least 10 Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in the strike.
It added, without providing further details, that additional Palestinians were killed in separate incidents, including airstrikes and shootings, in different parts of Gaza on the same day.
