SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): A man has been killed and two others injured in a traffic accident in northern Jawzjan province, an official said on Wednesday.
Police spokesman Qari Abdul Sattar Halimi said the incident occurred after a Passo-type vehicle collided with a tanker truck on Jawzjan-Balkh highway in Chaghchi area on Tuesday night at 10:00pm.
According to him, the driver of the vehicle lost his life and two others were injured in the incident.
He added that the injured were shifted to the 200-bed provincial hospital for medical treatment, but their condition was reported to be critical.
