KABUL (Pajhwok): The Meteorology Department of the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has forecast rainfall and possible flash floods in 20 provinces of the country.
According to the forecast, tomorrow (Friday), the provinces of Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, Logar, Kabul, Paktia, Paktika, Khost, Laghman, Kapisa, Panjshir, Parwan, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Bamyan, Samangan, Badakhshan, Takhar and Sar-I-Pul will receive rainfall.
The department has predicted rainfall levels ranging from 10 to 35 millimeters in different areas of these provinces.
It also forecasts wind speeds of 50 to 100 kilometers per hour across central, northern, eastern, southeastern, and western regions, as well as snowfall in high-altitude and cold areas.
