U.S. Veterans Protest Against War with Iran

According to reports, dozens of U.S. veterans and family members of military personnel gathered inside an administrative building of Congress in Washington, D.C., to protest against a potential U.S. war with Iran.

News18 reported that the protesters chanted slogans opposing the continuation of the war.

According to the report, more than 60 U.S. military veterans, including several former service members and military family members, were arrested after holding a peaceful protest.

The report states that the veterans gathered inside the building, and many of them were wearing military uniforms.

According to the report, they called for an end to U.S. military involvement outside the country and carried banners reading “End the war against Iran” and “We cannot afford another war.”

Organizers said the protest was held to honor those who were killed in past wars.

It is worth noting that the protest comes amid ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran.
