MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): Two women have died after a wall collapsed in Jaghatu district of central Maidan Wardak province, police said Thursday.
In a statement, the police headquarters said the incident took place in Dahna village on Wednesday.
It added that the wall collapsed following recent heavy rains, trapping the women underneath, resulting in their deaths.
Last week, two children were also killed in a similar rain-induced wall collapse in the same district.
