FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Three people have been arrested on charges of selling alcoholic beverages and possessing illegal weapons in the western Ghor province, police said on Wednesday.
In a statement, the police headquarters said intelligence and operational forces detained the three suspects from the 2nd police district of Ferozkoh, the provincial capital.
It said security forces seized one pistol, one bottle of alcohol, five pieces of glassware and 14 packets of heroin from the suspects.
The statement added one of the detainees was also accused of carrying out armed robberies and was arrested along with his weapon.
