KABUL (Pajhwok): Three “armed robbers” who had stolen money from a money exchange shop were killed in a clash with security forces in Greshk district of southern Helmand province on Sunday, a security source said.
The source told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place on Sunday afternoon in the district centre of Greshk.
He added that the individuals had earlier looted money from a currency exchange shop and injured two people before being killed in a clash with security forces.
The Helmand police headquarters has so far not commented on the incident.
