KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Commerce and Industry says that Nazimjan Kholmiradov, head of the Light Industry Development Agency of the Council of Ministers of Uzbekistan, has arrived in Kabul leading an official government and private-sector delegation, including representatives of Uzbek textile companies.
In a statement, the ministry said the purpose of the visit is to meet officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, participate in a trade connectivity conference and hold bilateral meetings between Afghan and Uzbek traders.
According to the source, the delegation also visited textile factories and industrial facilities in the northern provinces of Balkh and Kunduz during its trip to Afghanistan.
