KABUL (Pajhwok): Sweden has contributed $5.26 million (50 million Swedish kronor) to support operations in Afghanistan, the Special Trust Fund for Afghanistan (STFA) said.
In a post on its X account, the STFA said: “Thank you Sweden for the new generous contribution of US$5.26 million (SEK 50 million) to @UN_STFA.”
“By pooling resources and working together, we reach more communities with the support they need to build a more resilient future,” it added.
Earlier, Sweden had also contributed $2.99 million to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund.
