KABUL (Pajhwok): Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi forces have launched a new wave of attacks on Saudi Arabia, while tensions are rising over the important Strait of Hormuz, Reuters reported Tuesday.
The attacks came as Saudi officials discussed how to respond to the Houthis’ growing military activity along Yemen’s Red Sea coast.
The Houthis have also been moving toward areas near important shipping routes, raising concerns about the safety of international trade.
Saudi Arabia has previously faced attacks on its military and energy infrastructure during the widening Middle East conflict.
