KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s Ali Bilal has finished second in the Men’s Physique category at the 2026 Mr. Olympia competition in Las Vegas, United States.
According to the official results of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro League, Britain’s Ryan Terry won the Men’s Physique title, while Bilal secured the runner-up position. American Kyron Holden finished third.
Terry finished with five points, followed by Bilal with 12 and Holden with 13 points. Bilal was the only Afghan competitor listed among the top finishers in the Men’s Physique division.
The 2026 Olympia was held in Las Vegas from September 24 to 27, with the Men’s Physique competition featuring athletes from several countries.
Bilal competed against a field that included former Olympia champions and leading international competitors.
Bilal entered this year’s Olympia after winning the Men’s Physique title at the 2026 New York Pro in May. The official IFBB results show him finishing ahead of Brazil’s Edvan Palmeira and Indonesia’s Isai Kesek at that event.
His second-place finish in Las Vegas marks another podium result for the Afghan bodybuilder at the sport’s premier international competition. Bilal had also finished runner-up to Ryan Terry at the 2024 and 2025 Olympia competitions.
