No rift with Washington on Taliban talks: Faizi

He said US Special Envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan Marc Grossman had shared complete information regarding his swing through the region, including Qatar, with President Karzai at last month’s meeting in Kabul.

“There is no more any clash of opinion between the allies,” Faizi added. Acceptance of the Constitution, respect for women’s rights and an end to violence remained important conditions for anyone joining the reintegration programme, he concluded.
