KABUL Mohammad Sadiq.
Ludin expressed the Afghan government’s serious concern over recent cross-border incursions into Kunar, where four people including a woman were killed and six others wounded, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Such attacks could have a negative impact on relations between the neighbours, a statement from the ministry said. Ludin underlined the need for bilateral cooperation on issues, including peace, security and trade.
Both sides agreed to arrange a meeting of high-level military officials in Jalalabad to discuss the attacks, increased security cooperation along the Durand Line and ways of preventing attacks on Afghan villages, the statement concluded.
