KUNDUZ CITY (PAN): Tajik guards shot dead two suspected Afghan drug smugglers after they crossed the border into the neighbouring country from northern Takhar province, police said on Sunday.
Takhar police spokesman Maj. Two of them were killed and the remaining four were missing, said Aseer, who had no idea how much drugs the men carried to Tajikistan.
One of the dead was identified as resident of Rostaq district 5th border police zone commander, Brig. Gen. Abdul Habib Syedkheli, said.
