13 civilians martyred, 14 wounded in Pakistani military airstrikes

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 13 civilians, including women and children, were martyred and 14 others injured in Pakistani military regime’s airstrikes in the provinces of Kunar, Khost and Paktika, sources said on Wednesday.

Zabihullah Mujahid, chief spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), said that on Tuesday night the Pakistani “aggressor army” once again violated Afghanistan’s airspace and bombed civilian homes in Kunar, Khost and Paktika provinces.

According to him, 11 children, one woman and one elderly man were martyred in the attacks, while 14 others, including women and children, injured.

Mujahid said: “We strongly condemn this human crime and aggression.”

Local sources also told Pajhwok that Pakistan carried out the bombardment in these provinces, causing civilian casualties.

In Khost, a source said that around midnight, Pakistani forces targeted a civilian house in Manya village of Spera district, martyred nine members of a family, including women and children and injured 10 others.

In Paktika, a resident of Barmal district said Pakistan also bombed Mangariti village, martyred three civilians.

In Kunar, a local source said an airstrike targeted the Barkali area of Shultan district. In that incident, a girl was martyred and her mother was injured.
