Pupils from Lalpura, Dakah, Guruco, Chazkai, Marko, Basawal and Gardi towns are registered with the political administration of the Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA).
Nawaz Khan Afridi, assistant agency education officer, told the Associated Press of Pakistan, they afforded an alternative to Afghans living in insurgency-ravaged areas.
“Hundreds of Afghan students travel daily in search of studies in Khyber Agency, where primary, middle and high schools gladly accept them,” Khan said.
