KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): As a result of violations of traffic rules and reckless driving, 3150 people suffered casualties in traffic accidents during the past four months in southern Kandahar province, an official said on Monday.
Recently, traffic system in Kandahar city has become unruly. Plying one-sided roads by military and civilian vehicles, parking vehicles in improper places and speedy movement of military vehicles threaten people’s lives.
Local residents say the unprecedented increase in traffic accidents is the outcome of violation of traffic rules, speed and parking vehicles at wrong place.
