KUNDUZ CITY (PAN): A local police commander was among two policemen killed and three civilians were wounded in a roadside bombing in the northern province of Kunduz, officials said on Tuesday.
The explosion took place at 11am when a local police vehicle hit the roadside bomb in Dasht-i-Archi district, killing Amir Abdal and his driver and injuring three civilians,
Sheikh Sadruddin, , the district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the ALP vehicle was destroyed by the powerful explosion.
“After hearing the blast, we rushed to the scene and saw two people in police uniforms bleeding,” shopkeeper Noor Mohammad said, adding three injured civilians were taken to hospital.
