SHIBERGAHAN (PAN): A bus terminal, costing $300,000, was inaugurated in northern Jawzjan province on Tuesday, the Shiberghan mayor said.
The project was funded by the municipality with id=”mce_marker”20,000 contribution from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Mayor Eng. Mohammad Husain Saleh told Pajhwok Afghan News the terminal on one acres of land had shops, hotels, waiting rooms and toilets.
Earlier, there was no such facility for passengers, causing a rush in the provincial capital.
Mohammad Yaqub, a Panjsher transport representative, said all facilities had been made available considered to passengers and drivers at the bust stop.
