ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Three children were killed on Thursday when a mortar shell hit their house in southwestern Nimroz province, an official said.
During a clash between Afghan soldiers and Taliban, the mortar shell fell in the civilian house in the Pusht-i-Hasan area of Khashrod district.
Mohammad Hashim, the district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News three children of a family were killed and a woman and two girls would in the incident.
