JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Civil society activists staged a rally on Sunday, condemning Israeli attacks on Palestinian territory and urging the international community to take immediate steps to deescalate the tension.
Over the past week, more than 150 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed and hundreds wounded in uninterrupted bombardment of Ghaza Strip by Israeli forces.
Dozens of civil society activists took to the streets in Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar, denouncing what they dubbed Israeli brutalities. They chanted anti-Israeli slogans, saying they would not tolerate Tel Aviv’s aggression against innocent Palestinians.
