PUL-I-ALAM (PAN): A woman was killed and four of her family members were wounded when their tractor-trolley hit a roadside bomb in central Logar province on Thursday, officials said.

Two women, a child and a man were wounded in the incident, Logar police chief, Col. Ghulam Sakhi Rogh Lewanai, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Director of Public Health Ahmadullah Nalan confirmed four wounded people were brought to the Logar Civil Hospital. The injured were in stable condition, he said.

Awal Mir, who was wounded in the blast, said: “My brother’s wife was killed. My mother, and other brother’s spouse and nephew were wounded.”

Mir said they had no enmity with anybody and asked the insurgents to stop killing “innocent” people.
