District police chief wounded in Daikundi blast

NEILI (Pajhwok): A roadside explosion in central Daikundi province on Tuesday wounded the Kajran district police chief 2^nd Lt. Syed Habib Hussaini.

The incident happened early in the morning in Tangi Kajran locality, an intelligence official confided to Pajhwok Afghan News. 

Separately, a policeman was killed during a rebel attack on a check-post in the area, the official said, giving no further details.

Meanwhile, Taliban spokesman Qari Yousuf Ahmadi claimed five policemen had been killed in two separate bomb attacks.
