KABUL (Pajhwok): A woman has been stabbed to death by her husband in the Injil district of western Herat province, an official said on Thursday.
Herat police spokesman Col. Abdur Rauf Ahmadi told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place in the Muslikh Camp area of the district last night.
He said the man had two wives and killed one of them as a result of family dispute. The murderer and his second wife had been arrested, Ahmadi added.
