CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): At least three insurgents, including their commander, have been wounded in a U.S. precision strike in central Parwan province, officials said on Thursday.
Brig. Gen. Mohammad Zaman Mamozai, Parwan police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the strike took place on Wednesday night in Siah Gird district. Mullah Turab, a dreaded commander, is among the injured.
Meanwhile, officials in western Badghis province said unknown gunmen shot dead a 20-year-old man in Sang Baghban area. Bahauddin, provincial council head, said the incident took place as a result of personal enmity.
