Afghans are brothers, nobody can divide them: Wahdat

SHARAN (Pajhwok): The governor of southeastern Paktika province Elyas Wahdat has said that Afghans were brothers and effort to divide the nation should be stopped.

Wahdat expressed the view during a meeting with youth in Sharan, the provincial capital.

He said security forces made tight security arrangements during Eid-ul-Fitr thus people were able to celebrate the religious festival and other social traditions.

“The presence of a large number of people during the celebrations of Eid showed that Afghans were brothers and nobody could separate them,” said Whdat.

Lutfullah, the resident of Sharan, told Pajhwok Afghan News strict security arrangements had been put in place during Eid days.

People from Ghazni and other provinces came to Shran during Eid due to tight security arrangements and peaceful environment.
