KABUL has beaten Uzbekistan by 3-2 in the final of five-nation football tournament played in Tajikistan, an official said on Sunday.
Syed Ali Kazemi, spokesman for the Afghanistan Football Federation told Pajhwok Afghan News the tournament kick started last week and ended Saturday night with Afghanistan emerged victorious.
He said Afghanistan beat Uzbekistan by 3-2 in the Saturday evening match.
Earlier, Afghanistan has beaten Tajikistan and Kirghizstan as well.
He said Afghanistan grabbed nine points and qualified to lift the trophy.
