Taliban commanders killed in Nangarhar infighting

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Two Taliban commanders have been killed during infighting in the Batikot district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Wednesday.

Niamatullah Noorzai, the district’s administrative chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the infighting took place in Takee area late on Tuesday night.

He said Safiullah and Samiullah, two notorious commanders, were killed by Khairullah. He did not go into details that what triggered the clash.

There has been no word yet from the Taliban about the incident.
