KABUL (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah has said fight against corruption was top priority of the National Unity Government (NUG).
According to a statement, Abdullah expressed the view during a meeting with US Inspector General for Afghanistan John Spoko who called on him at the Sapedar Palace in CEO office.
Spoko provided his latest report regarding reconstruction and development affairs in Afghanistan to the CEO.
The meeting discussed all existing challenges, available opportunities to the private sector, recommendations and solutions.
The CEO hailed the efforts of Spoko and his team regarding Afghanistan’s reconstruction.
Abdullah presented his own anti-corruption ideas and said fight against corruption was government’s top priority.
The two sides also discussed reforms and efforts on the eradication of corruption.
