Policeman injured in twin Jalalabad blasts

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Two consecutive blasts near security check-point injured a policeman in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, on Thursday, an official said.

Governor Spokesman Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News the blasts took place in the limits of 7^th police district close to police check-point this afternoon.

Ghulam Mohammad, an eyewitnessed, said the blasts produced powerful sounds and the fog was visible in the air.

Public Health Department Spokesman Inamullah Miakhel said no injured person or body had been evacuated to the hospital from the blast area.
