LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani on Sunday arrived in southern Helmand province to inaugurate some projects and meet local officials, an official said.
Presidential spokesman Haroon Chakhansouri wrote on his twitter that Ghani reached the provincial capital early in the morning.
Heading a high-level delegation, Ghani would meet local and military officials, ulema activists, provincial council members, teachers and youth during his visit from the war-hit province.
President Ghani would also meet with the bereaved families of Abdul Jabar Qahraman and Saleh Mohammad . . .
