JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen killed a traffic policeman and another person in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, on Monday morning, an official said.
Attaullah Khogayni, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News obe of the incidents happened near the Behsood Bridge in the 8th police district. He said the assailants managed to flee the area.
Elsewhere in the city, unknown armed men shot dead a traffic policeman in the 2nd police district of Jalalabad. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the these incidents.
