2 ANA soldiers injured in Paktia landmine blast

GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Two Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were wounded as result of landmine explosion in the capital of southeastern Paktia province on Tuesday, an official said.

Police spokesman Sardar Wali Tabasum told Pajhwok Afghan News that a blast took place on ANA pick-up in Khost-i-Pul area of Gardez City, the provincial capital at around 12pm.

He said two ANA soldier were wounded in the blast.

Mohammad Yousaf, a resident of the area, without providing more information said the blast was so powerful. More details to follow.
