<p><a href="/en/afganistan/kabul" class="glossify-link">KABUL</a> (Pajhwok): On the eve of their clash with England, some Afghan cricketers had a bust-up with a man filming them at a Manchester restaurant.</p>
<p>Some members of the Afghan <a href="/en/world" class="glossify-link">World</a> Cup squad were having dinner on Monday night when they took exception to being filmed by a member of public.</p>
<p>According to BBC, the irate players confronted the member of the public, sparking an ugly bust-up and police had to be called.</p>
<p>Greater Manchester Police confirmed that officers attended Akbar’s restaurant on Monday night. “Police were called to reports of an altercation at a premises on Liverpool Road in Manchester.”</p>
<p>A police statement said: “Officers attended the scene. No one was injured and no arrests have been made. Enquiries are ongoing.”</p>
<p>Afghan team manager Naweeb Sayen was quoted as saying: “Nothing of that sort happened. The players just went for dinner. There was no altercation. All claims are baseless.”</p>
