PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): At least four people have been killed as a result of a traffic accident in northern Baghlan province, an official said on Saturday.
Nazeer Najam, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident took place in the Surakh area of Doshi district on Friday.
He added the accident occurred after a passenger vehicle overturned and fell into a river. Four individuals, including a government official of Uruzgan, were killed.
According to Najam, the identities of other victims were yet to be ascertained. The vehicle was heading to Baghlan from Kabul.
Abdul Halim Ghafari, deputy director of public health, confirmed the killing of four individuals in the traffic accident.
