SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock department in northern Jawzjan province says the Jangal Bagh garden will be revived.
Agriculture director Mohammad Alim Alami told Pajhwok Afghan News that at least 40,000 saplings would be planted on about 500 acres of land in the garden this year.
“The garden was harmed for various reasons and we plan to reconstruct it,” he added. He added the program would be implemented in few years.
Baee Sayeedi, a gardener in Shiberghan City, said he wanted to work as farmer in this historic garden.
Governor Mualvi Lotfullah Azizi said: “We are striving to do basic work for greenery of Jangal Bagh.”
