JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Nearly ten thousands Afghan passengers on Tuesday morning entered Afghanistan via Torkham pass without being screened for coronavirus, an official said.
Earlier, the Nangarhar governor said it has been decided that all passengers arriving from neighboring Pakistan would be quarantined for 14 to 21 days.
But, Mahmood Miakhel, said the decision was broken by the local governance and exempted 1,000 individuals from quarantine in Torkham Township late on Monday evening.
