KABUL Political Office has welcomed Afghan government decision to free 2,000 Taliban prisoners and stressed over completion of prisoners release process.
President Ashraf Ghani after Eid prayers on Sunday announced the resumption of prisoners release process and announced releasing 2,000 Taliban inmates.
Earlier, the Taliban announced three-day ceasefire during Eid-ul-Fitr which was reciprocated by government.
