KABUL after a possible deal in the intra-Afghan talks, according to a survey report released on Friday.
Conducted by WRRO , the survey participants demanded a democratic government, giving women rights enshrined in Islam and freedom of expression within the limits of Islamic teachings.
Nearly 53 percent of the poll participants said armed Taliban should be merged into the national security forces following complete implementation of a possible peace deal.
The survey was conducted in Kabul, Kandahar, Herat, Balkh, Nangarhar and Khost provinces in person and online in the rest of other provinces.
The result show 72 percent people chose an Islamic democratic system in the country while 19 percent people voted for the Islamic Emirates and 2.5 percent favored monarchy.
The survey found that 64 percent people believed the current system should remain for the sake of complete implementation of the peace accord.
However, nearly 18 percent respondents called for an interim system to implement a possible peace accord with the Taliban.
At least 67 percen people demanded the freedom of press to the level where religious and national interests were protected.
