Pak missions to continue visa service from own counters

KABUL’s Embassy in Kabul on Thursday said it would continue collecting visa forms from its own counters as per the established practice.

“The Embassy would like to clarify that Embassy of Pakistan and Pakistan’s Consulates in Afghanistan continue to collect visas from our own visa counters as per the established practice,” the diplomatic mission in Kabul said in a statement.

The embassy further clarified that it did not confirm any visa collection centres as being propagated in media reports.

“The system for collection and distribution of visas at the Embassy of Pakistan in Kabul and our Consulates in Afghanistan is also being improved and made more facilitative.”

The embassy said it was looking forward to continued cooperation with the Afghan authorities in management of large number of visa applicants outside the Consular Sections at the Pakistan Embassy in Kabul and Consulates in Afghanistan for ensuring disciplined and dignified visa processing.
