10 security personnel killed in overnight Kunduz attack

KUNUZ CITY (Pajhwok): Ten security personnel have been killed and seven others injured in the Taliban attack in northern Kunduz province, an official said on Friday.

The Taliban attacked security personnel compound in the Bala Hisar locality of Imam Sahib district on Thursday night, a well-placed security source said.

Esmatullah Muradi, the governor spokesperson, said ten Taliban and five security personnel were killed in the attack.

He said two security forces and five Taliban injured in the attack.

The Taliban confirmed that clash.
