14 doctors injured in Panjsher traffic accident

KABUL (Pajhwok): Fourteen doctors, including females, were injured as a result of a traffic accident in central Panjsher province on Saturday morning, an official said.

The casualties happened in the morning when an Emergency Hospital vehicle carrying the doctors veered off the road after colliding with another vehicle in Dalan-i-Sang area, the hospital director said.

Dr. Akbar Jan added 14 doctors, including females, were injured in the accident. The injured were discharged after being administered first medical aid.

Mohammad Mansour Anabi, the governor’s spokesman, confirmed the traffic accident, saying an investigation was underway.
