4 security personnel injured in Helmand bombing

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Four security personnel have been injured in a car-bombing on security forces check-post in the Gereshk district of southern Halmand province, an official said on Saturday.

Umar Zwak, the governor spokesperson confirmed the incident, but did not provide the detail.

He, however, said Afghan Air forces targeted an explosive-laden vehicle in the Bashran locality of Lashkargah City and struck it before it could reach to its target.

The Taliban have not spoken about the incident so far.
