17 new Covid-19 cases registered in past 24hrs: MoPH

KABUL (Pajhwok): Seventeen persons have tested positive for coronavirus in the past 24 hours while three persons died from the virus, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Friday.

With 17 new cases the total national tally of people affected by coronavirus reached to 55,957, according to a statement from the MoPH.

A total 1,830 samples were brought to the different laboratories in the country in which 17 were positive.

The new cases are deducted in Nangarhar, Kabul, Kandahar, Kunar, Maidan Wardak and Laghman provinces.
