GARDEZ (Pajhwok): For more than three months, Gardez city of southeasternPaktia province has been without the mayor, which has hampered people’s affairs.
Paktia provincial council members, residents and civil society activists say they are deeply concerned about the absence of the important position and say the mayor must be named soon.
