MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): One civilian was killed and three others wounded as a result of bomb blast in northern Balkh province on Saturday morning, an official said.
Police spokesman Adel Shah Adel told Pajhwok Afghan News an explosives-laden bicycle went off in limits of 6th police district of Mazar-i-Sharif City, the provincial capital today morning.
He said one civilian was killed and three others would in the blast.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses told Pajhwok that they had seen an injured military officer where a police pick-up was also damaged in the blast.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the explosion.
