Leave Afghanistan immediately, Britons asked

KABUL (Pajhwok): All British nationals in Afghanistan have been urged leave the country immediately due to the worsening security situation.

“If you are still in Afghanistan, you are advised to leave now by commercial means because of the worsening security situation,” the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said on Friday.

According to AFP, the foreign office asked Britons not to rely on it for emergency evacuation, saying it could provide “extremely limited” assistance.

It warned terrorists could try to conduct attacks in Afghanistan. “Specific methods of attack are evolving and increasing in sophistication.”
