KABUL (Pajhwok): A high-level Taliban delegation left for Uzbekistan on Saturday for talks on a wide range of issues, an official said on Saturday.
Zabihullah Mujahid, deputy minister of information and culture, said Deputy Prime Minister Maulvi Abdul Salaam Hanafi was heading a high level delegation to Uzbekistan.
The two sides would hold talks on expanding cooperation trade, development, railway and power sectors, Mujahid added.
Higher education, trade, transport, public works, economy and health ministers, Da Afghanistan Bank governor, security and media representatives are part of the delegation.
Detailed talks on several issues will be held with Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister Umurzakov in Termez.
