KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting foreign minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has said China should expedite work on Afghanistan mines where the country has invested.
Muttaqi during a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan Wang Yu in Kabul also discussed the development of political ties, Chinese investment in Afghanistan's solar and mining sectors, and the development of bilateral trade.
A spokesman for the foreign ministry, Abdul Qahar Balkhi, wrote on his Twitter account late last night that during the meeting, the Chinese ambassador also discussed the development of political relations with the new Afghan government.
He also wrote that the acting foreign minister asked the Chinese ambassador to help solve problems of Afghan students in the country.
