At least 4 killed in US hospital shooting

KABUL (Pajhwok): A man carrying a rifle and a handgun has killed four people at a US hospital, a media report said on Thursday.

The incident — the latest in a series of mass shootings across the US in recent weeks — happened at Tulsa medical centre on a hospital campus on Wednesday, police said.

Tulsa Police Department deputy chief Eric Dalgleish confirmed the number of fatalities and said the shooter was also killed, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

It was unclear what prompted the deadly assault, Dalgleish said.

Both weapons at one point or another were apparently fired on the scene,” Dalgleish believed. The officers who arrived were hearing shots in the building, and that’s what led them to the second floor.”
